What started as one horse's health crisis is becoming a line of science-based horse supplements built entirely on peer-reviewed research. No proprietary blends. Just ingredients that work, at doses the research actually supports.
The Short Version
My horse needed something that didn't exist. I'm an engineer. I went and found the studies myself. Now I make science-based horse supplements in my barn. I just really love this stuff.
The Philosophy
No gatekeeping. If I find something interesting, I'm going to tell you about it. At length. With citations. You are a partner in your horse's care, not just a customer.
This whole thing started
because of Lorelei.
We moved to Land O' Lakes, Florida. Lorilei had a severe allergic response. She ended up on dexamethasone steroids and I couldn't get her below 3 tablets a day without triggering a crisis. At 21 tabs a week… you're looking at laminitis risk.
I'm a systems engineer. So I did what I do. I found the studies. I looked at what the peer-reviewed research said about equine histamine response. I looked at bioavailability. I looked at dosage. And then I reproduced the result. You can read more about the research behind this in The Library.
Lorilei is much more comfortable now. Here skin is healing and her hair is growing back. That's Benchmark — our science-based horse supplement built on that exact research. And then I realized: if it works, I should tell people about it. Because that's just the right thing to do.

I had noticed a soft persistent cough but never thought much about it until I stumbled upon an article about how large horse’s lungs are and that even a small cough is a concern given that capacity. I started him on the loading dose of the Benchmark protocol that day and his cough hasn’t been heard since.

Reacher, my teenage QH pasture puff, was the second member of the herd. The “horse for my horse.” He always had hive episodes and bare skin in spots that I was never able to figure out. Tae
Brought as a weanling to Florida from Missouri, it was evident by his first summer that he was going to struggle with the weather and bugs here. Fly sheets, sprays and ointments weren’t providing measurable relief. Now on Benchmark MAX for four months he has never looked better. I want to be clear about something: I don't call what I do “research.” The research is done by scientists — trained specialists who designed controlled studies and produced repeatable results. That's not me. What I do is educate myself on that research. My brain doesn't stop — I'm constantly absorbing new information, new studies, new frameworks. And when I find something credible, repeatable, and relevant to horses, I build products around it. I'm a biology fangirl. The scientists did the work. I just refuse to ignore it.
